Paul Manafort – Donald Trump's former campaign chair whose trial on tax evasion and bank fraud charges kicked off Tuesday – is a hapless pawn prosecutors are trying to flip to testify against the president, former Republican House Majority Leader Tom DeLay tells Newsmax TV.

"This is so sad to be honest with you," DeLay told Tuesday's "America Talks Live." " . . . They found out that he had not registered as a foreign agent a few years ago. They built on that case . . . But their focus, as we all know, is to flip him and get him to testify against Trump.
