Republican Kentucky Congressman Rep. James Comer told Newsmax TV on Friday that Democrats are trying to scare people about the U.S. Postal Service, conflating mail-in voting with absentee voting and ignoring the obvious.
Comer, 48, a second-term member of the House who represents the largely rural 1st Congressional District in southern Kentucky, said Democrats' claims of the Post Office's demise and President Donald Trump's "war" on the Postal Service it is a "scare tactic" to frighten seniors and those that receive medicine by mail.
