The "flimsy charges" of sexual assault leveled against Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh will not change the outcome of his confirmation process, former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay told Newsmax TV.

The Texas Republican told Tuesday's "Newsmax Now" and discussed the claim Kavanaugh, as a 17-year-old high schooler, assaulted a 15-year-old girl during a party 36 years ago.
