Former ambassador and CIA Director R. James Woolsey, speaking at an American Leadership and Policy Foundation forum Saturday, said the COVID-19 pandemic has revealed the vulnerability of fragile global networks to a broad range of attacks ranging from Russian disinformation campaigns to bio weapons to EMP attacks on the U.S. power grid that would degrade not only the ability of the Pentagon to mount an effective response, but also the ability of broader society to function effectively.
Woolsey’s remarks came during a virtual forum hosted by the non-profit, all-volunteer American Leadership and Policy Foundation.
