The United States must start looking at whether the cure for the coronavirus epidemic is worse than the disease itself, but not just to get the economy going again, but to build up the immunity that comes from being exposed to the virus, Dr. Zudhi Jasser, president of the Arizona Medical Association, told Newsmax TV on Tuesday.
"Our immunity to this is going to come from being exposed," Jasser told "The Chris Salcedo Show." "If we isolate too much, we're going to prevent the herd immunity."
