The severe protective mask shortage for which President Donald Trump has repeatedly come under fire was an issue that goes back to the Obama years. Although the previous administration was made aware of it, they failed to address it.
"We took over a dead, barren system," Trump told reporters Sunday. "We took over a system that was obsolete."
