A mumps outbreak at an ICE detention facility in Houston is raising new concerns over a possible public-health risk associated with immigrants and refugees entering the United States along the U.S.-Mexico border.

ICE reports seven confirmed cases of the mumps among the immigrant population housed at an ICE facility near George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Those patients were immediately isolated and the outbreak was contained, they say.
