Former Democratic strategist and White House adviser Dick Morris says he believes the U.S. Supreme Court will consolidate all of the election challenges out of Pennsylvania into one case, combining lawsuits brought by the Trump campaign and a Republican congressman.
Numerous lawsuits have been filed challenging the election tallies in the state, which show Democrat Joe Biden ahead of President Donald Trump by about 80,000 votes. One question the decisions by state Democratic officials to allow deficient ballots to be corrected or ''cured'' and another by Rep. Mike Kelly, R-Pa., says the state legislature’s expansion of absentee voting was unconstitutional.
