Famed attorney Lin Wood told Newsmax TV on Wednesday that he has filed an appeal with the 11th U.S. Circuit of Appeals to overturn Georgia’s election results based on his claim that the Georgia secretary of state unilaterally and unconstitutionally changed election rules.
Wood, who famously represented Richard Jewell — wrongfully accused of the Atlanta Olympic Park bombing in 1996 — said he is seeking to void the election results and have the matter turned over to the Georgia legislature.
