Now that Democratic freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar has offered an “unequivocal apology” for a statement widely criticized as anti-Semitic, attention is turning to whether her controversial remarks — and what many saw as the slow response by Democrat leaders to disavow them — will have a lasting impact on Jewish voters’ support for Democrats in 2020.
