Americans for Tax Reform President Grover Norquist disputed claims by Joe Biden the Democrat nominee for president would raise taxes only on wealthier Americans, saying the former vice president's vow to eliminate the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 automatically raises taxes on all income levels.
Norquist appeared on Newsmax TV on Monday to decry Biden and media outlets, such as CNBC, who have said only the wealthier would pay more under a Democrat administration. He said both are forgetting the former vice president's promises to repeal the Trump tax cuts would automatically raise taxes for everybody.
