Given the first few months of Joe Biden’s presidency have already been marked by a record number of executive orders, it was little surprise Tuesday when White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Biden could again pick up his pen as a response to recent mass shootings in Atlanta and Boulder.

While Biden pushed gun control legislation in earlier national remarks, Psaki hinted Biden was also considering going it alone – again – in the face of an increasingly gridlocked Congress.
