Rep. Doug Collins to Newsmax: Dems Need to Stop Lying to Themselves About Rioters

Georgia Rep. Doug Collins mocked his liberal Democratic colleagues on Tuesday for not criticizing rioters and looters in cities across the country, particularly Portland, telling Newsmax TV that the Democrats are lying to themselves.

“When do you bring a sledgehammer to a peaceful protest?” I mean when did that become the standard gear for a peaceful protest? Oh, sledgehammers, industrial fireworks, lasers to shoot at the eyes of the police. Those are just things you don’t bring to a peaceful protest,” Collins said on “Spicer & Co.”
