Biola University Approves TPUSA as Critics Decry 'Woke' Shift

Three years after a Biola University student first attempted to establish a Turning Point USA (TPUSA) chapter at the Christian college, the school approved the request in December — just in time for her graduation.

The approval came more than 3½ months after the assassination of TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk and amid ongoing scrutiny of what critics describe as a long-standing drift toward progressive ideology at Biola, a Christian college. At the same time, students and insiders say the school has recently begun making notable course corrections in an effort to return to its roots.
