To be sure, after getting sworn in on Jan. 20, Biden initially wasted no time scrapping many of former President Donald Trump’s tough immigration rules and suspending the building of his signature border wall – decisions that, experts say, created a welcoming environment for illegal immigrants, who soon began flooding the border in unprecedented numbers.
