Former Veteran Affairs Secretary Robert Wilkie pointed out on Newsmax that the Biden administration's actions toward Israel appear "schizophrenic" and hard to comprehend.
Speaking with "American Agenda," Wilkie said the situation in Israel "plays to the schizophrenia of this administration. We have an extreme national security interest in caging up Iran."
"We also have a moral and national security interest in supporting Israel," Wilkie continued. "This administration cannot decide what to do."
According to a number of reports indicating a reason, as Wilkie loosely puts it, why the Biden administration can't deliver a clear message on the Israel-Hamas war may be due to, as Chairman James Comer of the House Oversight referred to the entity, the entangled interests of the "Biden Crime Family."
In 2017, as The New York Times reported, "prosecutors in the United States arrested one of" the "top executives" of the Chinese oil company CEFC — a company which at the time allegedly benefited first son, Hunter Biden — for allegedly securing "oil rights in Chad and Uganda" and "brokering arms deals in other countries and looking for ways to dodge American sanctions on Iran," who a number of outlets point to directly funding the terrorist group Hamas.
Conversely, according to former State Department official Mike Benz, one of the bets of the Bush-Cheney faction of the Republican party was that if Iran's rich natural gas supply could be controlled, it would be funneled via Azerbaijan to Europe. Some of the noteworthy former board members of the United States-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce include former Vice President Dick Cheney and former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger.
