The mainstream media's latest attempt to spin a former President Donald Trump remark into something nefarious backfired, according to Trump campaign adviser Jason Miller on Newsmax.
"The media is now complicit with the Democrats and the Biden-Harris campaign in pushing these hoaxes, and unfortunately, I think we're going to see a lot of this as we move toward November," Miller told Tuesday's "Wake Up America."
Trump's use of the term "bloodbath" to describe what will happen to various industries, including the auto industry, if President Joe Biden is elected to a second term was weaponized by the media – albeit clearly out of context.
Biden's operatives seized on the language across media outlets with some suggesting the wording implied Trump "wants another Jan. 6."
"Democrats are realizing that Joe Biden is in serious, serious trouble, and there's nothing that Biden or his campaign can do to turn things around," Miller said.
"What they're playing now is the game of selectively editing clips, putting out false narratives such as bloodbath as it were some kind of violent context."
