Comic Larry David has yet to accept the $5,000 an immigration group awarded him for shouting "Trump's a racist!" during last weekend's episode of "Saturday Night Live,"
CNN Money reports.
DeportRacism.com offered the bounty for anyone who would shout the phrase during the live show in an effort to bring attention to Trump's vow to build a border wall and deporting 11 million illegal immigrants if elected president.
David's interruption of Trump's monologue clearly was a scripted part of the show, but Luke Montgomery, the group's campaign manager, said it counted and that David would be getting the check.
But there's been a hitch: David's people aren't picking up the phone, so the money is sitting uncollected.
"We might hold onto it and offer Larry David's reward money to somebody who interrupts the next GOP debate in December and calls Trump a racist," DeportRacism.com's Luke Montgomery told CNN.
