Weiner Picks 'B Team' to Aid Campaign Comeback

By    |   Thursday, 16 May 2013 04:03 PM EDT

Former Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner of New York is having problems recruiting a top tier campaign management team for a likely run for New York mayor.

GMMB, the firm that ran Weiner's 2005 mayoral race and exploratory effort for New York mayor in 2009, is no longer working for Weiner.

So the former lawmaker — who resigned from Congress in 2011 after admitting he tweeted nude pictures of himself — has turned to 30-year-old Danny Kedem as his campaign quarterback.

Last year, Kedem ran the losing race of Democrat Mark Murphy against Republican Rep. Michael Grimm of New York.
