Vanity Fair smashed a record for subscriptions following President-elect Donald Trump's twitter attack on the magazine, The Hill reports.
He tweeted:
On the same day Trump tweeted and cited poor numbers for the magazine, Vanity Fair increased subscribers a reported hundredfold, the Hill noted.
The magazine encouraged readers to subscribe, putting up a banner on its website labeling itself the "magazine Trump doesn't want you to read."
Trump's tweet had followed a negative review of Trump Grill, the restaurant inside Trump Tower. The magazine questioned whether it was the "worst restaurant in America."
