Minutes before the House passed legislation to repeal and replace Obamacare, President Donald Trump took to Twitter to slam the Affordable Care Act and predicting a Republican victory.

Here are Trump's tweets:

Republicans passed the revised American Health Care Act, 217-213, along party lines that was one vote more that was needed for victory.

The move addresses the Republicans' longtime pledge to repeal former President Barack Obama's signature domestic legislation.

The vote sends AHCA to the Senate. Many senators consider the House bill too harsh and it's expected to undergo substantial changes.

The original healthcare bill failed in March after House Speaker Paul Ryan pulled it twice from a floor vote after strong opposition by the conservative House Freedom Caucus.

The revised legislation moved forward Thursday after an amendment that would add $8 billion over five years to cover Americans with pre-existing conditions.

Democrats have long said that the revised bill would kick millions off coverage. They predicted Republicans would pay the price in next year's congressional elections.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
