President Donald Trump is expected to have an off-the-record lunch with the anchors of the major networks Thursday, Politico reported.

The topic is Trump's upcoming foreign trip but would undoubtedly turn to the bombshell events of the past few days, too.

Trump met a larger media contingent in February prior to his first address of the joint session of Congress.
