Sen. Kelly Ayotte and Gov. Maggie Hassan are deadlocked in a statistical tie in their race for the GOP incumbent's New Hampshire Senate seat, according to the latest University of Massachusetts poll.
The results among likely voters:
- Hassan: 47 percent.
- Ayotte: 46 percent.
Hassan's 1-point lead falls within the poll's 4.3 percent margin of error, according to the survey.
Ayotte held a 1-point lead in this poll on Oct. 13.
Four percent of registered independents say they're undecided, while Hassan owns a 2-point lead over Ayotte with independents who have decided, according to the poll.
