Fox News analyst and conservative radio host Monica Crowley will join President-elect Donald Trump's administration as a deputy national security adviser, The Daily Beast then CNN reported.
Crowley will report into Trump's national security adviser, retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn.
Though Crowley's position is strategic communications, the role has broader reach into shaping national security policy, CNN reported, similar to that of Ben Rhodes in President Barack Obama's administration.
Crowley's contract has been terminated with Fox News and her radio program will end after 14 years, CNN reported.
Crowley joins fellow former Fox News colleague K.T. McFarland, also tapped as a deputy national security adviser.
