Vice President Mike Pence on Tuesday dismissed assertions there is a faction working to undermine President Donald Trump as "absurd and frankly offensive."

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange tweeted Tuesday that Hillary Clinton and intelligence officials are working to foist a takeover on Trump and make Pence the new commander-in-chief.

Pence told conservative radio host Laura Ingraham serving with Trump has "been the greatest honor of my life."

"I would find all of that dialogue to be absurd and frankly offensive," Pence said on Ingraham's show. "I would dismiss that out of hand."

Assange claimed to have heard from 2 intelligence community officials close to the vice president.
