Conservative radio talk show host Laura Ingraham is mulling a Senate challenge to Virginia's incumbent and former Hillary Clinton running mate Sen. Tim Kaine, the Washington Examiner reported Sunday.

Citing unnamed sources, the news outlet reported Ingraham has been approached to run by "several party insiders," and that she's "considering it."

According to the Examiner, Ingraham's business partner, Peter Anthony, has begun buying website domains in case the radio personality and head of the news site Lifezette.com  decides to go ahead with the bid.

The Examiner noted the GOP primary could be crowded, with both Reps. Barbara Comstock and Dave Brat considering a challenge, and reports that former Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina is also interested.
