Marianne Williamson, a Democratic presidential candidate, charged that President Donald Trump is a "megaphone for white nationalism."

The comments from the self-help speaker and author came during an interview shown Tuesday on Hill.TV.

"He is a megaphone for white nationalism in the United States," Williamson said. "And unfortunately, he is also a megaphone for this kind of autocratic right-wing, fascistic-tending pattern throughout the country.

"I think people underestimate the danger represented by this presidency at their peril. It's very dark some of what he's doing."

She noted Trump has attacked four progressive congresswomen, known as the "Squad" and has blasted against Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md.

"It's not hyperbole to say that if you didn't know better, you'd think he was stoking a race war," she said.

Trump said Tuesday: "I am the least racist person of anyone."
