Sen, Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., conceded Sunday she has a problem with voters recognizing who she is compared with Democratic presidential candidates with “billions or dollars.”
In an interview on ABC News’ “This Week,” Klobuchar said she’s not deterred by being unable to crack the top four in Iowa: Joe Biden, Sens. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Pete Buttigieg.
“I'm going to New Hampshire,” she vowed.
“I know I don't have the highest name ID compared to all these other people I'm running against, or the billions of dollars that two of my opponents have,” she said, without naming who she meant. “What we've got is grit.”
She said though others have dropped out, “I'm still standing.”
“The debates have been good for me,” she said. “There will be another debate in New Hampshire. I'll be on that stage. And I'm only one of two candidates left from the middle of the country, the very, very part of the country that we need to win.”
