Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton has been under fire from the media for
dodging their questions and literally keeping them roped off, so a few of them decided to get involved with her
Facebook Q&A on Monday.
As Mediaite's Alex Griswold noted, a few of them actually got answers.
The Washington Post's Wesley Lowery asked how Clinton would have answered Black Lives Matter protesters at Netroots Nation over the weekend. Unlike Martin O'Malley, Clinton immediately replied "Black lives matter," without adding "White lives matter" and "All lives matter," which sparked outrage from some in the audience.
"Black people across America still experience racism every day," Clinton said on Facebook. "Since this campaign started, I've been talking about the work we must do to address the systemic inequities that persist in education, in economic opportunity, in our justice system."
Clinton also answered questions from the Huffington Post's Laura Bassett and Alexander Howard on whether she is playing the "gender card" in her campaign, and on the "gig economy."
She did not answer questions from several other reporters. And she ignored queries from the conservative Judicial Watch about her "secret email accounts as secretary of state" and from Americans for Tax Reform Founder Grover Norquist, who asked why she advocates higher taxes.
