Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., said on Tuesday that she thought President Donald Trump was a "total chicken" for refusing to debate Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden virtually after testing positive for the coronavirus.

Warren addressed the president's refusal to take part in a virtual debate during an interview on the daytime talk show "The Real," saying that she thought Trump was "a total chicken" and making a clucking noise.

She added that Trump "knows that he just got spanked in that first debate," and that Americans watching will have been convinced not to vote for him because of how he "blustered" and "strutted around" on stage.

"I think right now he'd like to say that he really wants to debate again," Warren said. "I think Joe Biden should call his bluff because one of two things will happen: Either Trump will back up or Trump will show up and either way I think the American people in even bigger numbers are turning away from Donald Trump. They're ready to change the channel on him."
