Democrat Ads Hit GOP Congressmen on Government Shutdown

With Democrats reeling from the failures of Obamacare, the party is trying to shift public attention back to the government shutdown.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has launched Internet ads against 31 Republican House members who are still considering voting for another shutdown in an effort to defund Obamacare, The Hill reports.

The ads appear on Facebook and are aimed at some of the Democrats' top targets for 2014.

Rep. Rodney Davis of Illinois is one of the targeted Republicans.

"Congressman Rodney Davis refuses to rule out another government shutdown. Tell him we've had enough of the GOP's reckless antics," one of the ads reads.
