Sharron Angle, the Nevada Republican who challenged Harry Reid for Senate in 2010, said “it’s a possibility” she would consider a rematch against the Senate Majority Leader.
“Certainly, we need to replace Harry Reid’s leadership and it would be nice to have a different person representing our state as well,” the former state assemblywoman told a meeting of the Elko County GOP on Saturday, according to the
Elko Daily Free Press.
She added, “If you believe in representative government, then you have to be willing to be one of those representatives. And I’m willing.”
Angle lost to Reid by almost six points in 2010. She was one of a number of tea party candidates that year who failed to prevail in what was considered to be a winnable race.
