Republicans must hold the Senate in next week's general election — especially in the event that President Donald Trump loses his re-election bid — to keep Democrats from implementing their left-wing agenda, Sen. Mike Rounds, R-South Dakota, tells Newsmax TV.
The Senate approves appointments not only of judges, but people in various departments of government, and a Democratic president and Senate could allow them to "run roughshod" over the country implementing the Green New Deal and reduce the value of Second Amendment rights, Rounds said Tuesday in an interview on "Stinchfield."
