Rep. Brian Babin of Texas claims Democrats have appeared stronger in Texas recently because they’ve fled high-tax states such as California and New York to the Lone Star state only to bring their old voting habits with them.
Babin, 72, a three-term Republican who represents Texas’ 36th Congressional District in the southeast portion of the state stretching from the Houston suburbs to the Louisiana border, told Newsmax TV that the rural areas of the state remain loyally conservative.
