Millennial voters were drawn to Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Bernie Sanders because they are both outside the establishment, but Trump is not likely to win over Sanders' voters despite his recent overtures, pollster John Zogby told Newsmax TV.
"It's going to be hard for young people to vote for Trump," Zogby, senior partner at John Zogby Strategies and director of the Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship at Le Moyne College, said Tuesday on "The Steve Malzberg Show."
More than 40 percent of millennials are non-white, he noted, a problem for Trump considering some of his statements on illegal immigrants.

"I know he's making a pitch now among African American voters and Latino voters and Muslim voters, but the die may have been cast already," Zogby said.
But millennials are not fans of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton either, he added.
"What you have basically are people who want problems to be resolved and what they have seen is problems going unresolved," he said. "We only have 328 million people in this country. Is this the best we can do? That's a lot of people. A lot of people are asking that."
Millennials live in a world of immediacy, Zogby said.
"There's a problem, you solve the problem. Get it done. Pure and simple," Zogby said. "They don't see that kind of activity from government. They don't see it from politics. I won't say they have given up entirely yet, but there's a whole lot of skepticism, and I would call it healthy skepticism."
Zogby is author of the book: "We Are Many, We Are One: Neo-Tribes and Tribal Analytics in 21st Century America."
