With recent polls show Republican Donald Trump gaining on Democrat Hillary Clinton in the presidential race, pollster John Zogby tells Newsmax TV the race is too close to call.
Too many things will be going on between now and Election Day to determine whether latest poll trends will mean Trump will catch up, the head of Zogby Analytics and director of Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship and Ethics at Lemoyne College said Monday on "Newsmax Prime."
"Let's just call it a close race," Zogby told host J.D. Hayworth.

The Real Clear Politics average of polls currently gives Clinton a 6-point lead, but some of those polls go back as far as 8 or 9 days ago, Zobgy said. If one focuses only on the last four polls, they show a trend toward an even tigher race of 3.5 points.
"It's just too close to call," he said.
Election turnout has to do with enthusiasm, Zogby said, and while the evidence is currently only anecdotal, new GOP voter registration in Florida, Ohio and other swing states "suggest we may be seeing a lot more Trump supporters than we have been," Zogby said.
He is author of a new book: "We Are Many, We Are One: Neo-Tribes and Tribal Analytics in 21st Century America."
