Donald Trump needs to "shut up" about building a wall between the United States and Mexico, says the founder of a Super PAC dedicated to stopping his rise in the Republican party.
Liz Mair of Make America Awesome tells
Newsmax TV's "Newsmax Prime" she doesn't believe Trump would build a wall should he win the presidency.
"I don't have a problem with people generally working to secure the border but I don't believe that what Donald Trump is proposing, A, will ever happen or B, would secure the border if it did happen," Mair tells host J.D. Hayworth. "It's interesting that only 38 percent of people want that wall now that they've seen Donald Trump ever talking about it. Support for the wall has actually declined as Donald Trump has advocated for it.
"So if his concern is securing the border, actually he probably should shut up at this point. That would probably be more constructive."

Mair says there are "many ways to deal with a wall" from the perspective of a border crosser, such as drilling holes in it or simply climbing over it.
She thinks more needs to be done to secure the border than just building a wall between the two countries.
Trump has been saying for months he would have Mexico pay for a border wall to be built if he becomes president. This week, the real estate mogul said he would
threaten to stop all money transfers from the U.S. to Mexico using a Patriot Act anti-terrorism law unless Mexico hands over "a one-time payment of $5 to $10 billion" that would fund the wall's construction.
