If Republicans fail to confirm Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court in the face of coordinated and unified Democratic obstruction, they are going to kiss their majority in the House and Senate goodbye in these midterm elections, turning off their voters, Michael Reagan told Newsmax TV on Tuesday.
"My predictions are that the Republican Party better put Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court or there'll be no Republicans in the House or the Senate when it comes November elections, if you will, because Republican [voters] will actually stay home if they don't put Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court," Reagan, the son of former President Ronald Reagan, told "America Talks Live." "That's what they need to do and not pay attention to all this fodder that's going on out there.
". . . You know the Democrats are going to stick together – the Democrats will get in the car and will run you over a cliff together. Republicans, I've said this before, have trouble getting together in a phone booth.
"Well, they better get together in a phone booth on this one."

Reagan ripped the appearance of Democratic operative Michael Avenatti into the Kavanaugh confirmation allegations debate, saying he knew it was a political scam once the salacious-allegations lawyer was involved.
"As soon as Avenatti jumped into this, you knew this was all B.S.," Reagan, author of "Lessons My Father Taught Me: The Strength, Integrity, and Faith of Ronald Reagan," told hosts Miranda Khan, John Cardillo, and Gina Loudon.
"Everybody's looking for their 15 minutes of fame with this program. It's sad to see what a family has to go through."
Reagan said it is no wonder people ask "why aren't good people running for office anymore?"
"This is one of the reasons good people aren't running for office, because it's hard for anybody to pass the test," Reagan said.
