NBC News announced five moderators for the first Democratic debate scheduled for June 26-27.
Lester Holt, anchor of the “NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt” will moderate the first hour and appear in the second hour each night.
Appearing with Holt during the first hour on both nights will be Savannah Guthrie, co-anchor of “Today,” and Jose Diaz-Balart, anchor of "Noticias Telemundo.”
Chuck Todd, host of “Meet the Press with Chuck Todd” and Rachel Maddow, host of “The Rachel Maddow Show” on MSNBC will moderate the second hour each night.
Twenty candidates will participate in the debate – 10 White House hopefuls each night.
The debate will be held at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami.
The Democratic National Committee is reportedly requiring at least one woman moderate each of the party’s presidential debates.
