Millie Bobby Brown appears to have announced her engagement on Instagram.
The 19-year-old "Stranger Things" star, who was first linked to boyfriend Jake Bongiovi, 20, in June 2021, posted a black-and-white photo of the pair together. On her left hand, Brown is wearing a diamond ring which many took to be an engagement ring. She captioned the post with lyrics from Taylor Swift's song "Lover."
"I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all," she wrote, adding a love-heart emoji.
The comments section of Brown's post was flooded with congratulatory messages.
Former "Extra" host Mark Wright wrote, "Congrats guys xx," while his sister Jessica Wright added, "Ommmmggggg congratulations!!!!!!!!! @milliebobbybrown this is amazing. So happy for you darling."
Gordon Ramsay's daughter, Holly added, "Congratulations," followed by a flurry of red hearts.
Bongiovi, who is the son of musician Jon Bon Jovi, also shared photographs of the couple in the same location on his Instagram account. "Forever," he captioned his post along with a heart emoji.
Before their engagement, in January, Brown referred to Bongiovi as her "partner for life" in an Instagram post that featured a series of photos from 2022 of them together, as well as of her friends and animals.
"Endlessly in love with the year I've had! grateful for my friends, family, donkey (bernard), my doggies, my puppies teeth, and my partner for life," she captioned the post. "Here's to another year with you and the wonderful people and animals around us. let's do it again but better!"
Bongiovi responded in the comment section, writing, "Your year babe love you so much."
Brown was previously linked to TikTok star Hunter Ecimovic, who stirred controversy after alleging in an Instagram live video in 2021 that he "groomed" Brown and engaged in sexual acts with her while also passing other crude comments. Ecimovic, who has since removed himself from social media, later offered an apology on TikTok, explaining that he was drunk when he made the remarks, which were in response to negative comments he was receiving from his followers.
