A top combat photographer who allegedly made passes at women could be hit with a staggeringly severe punishment — dwarfing the sentence Bowe Bergdahl, the Army sergeant charged with desertion and misbehavior before the enemy, may face.

Aaron Allmon is accused of trying to pick up women in the public affairs office at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota — and alleged infraction that could land him a sentence of 130 years behind bars, The Washington Times reports.

"This is a glimpse into the new U.S. Armed Forces and its gender wars," The Times' Rowan Scarborough says.

"It is a slice of military life stemming from the Pentagon's order in 2013 to erase all sexual harassment and, to enforce it, staff the ranks with an advocacy bureaucracy to empower victims and make sure complaints are filed."

Allmon — who captured combat in Iraq and Afghanistan and suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, alcohol abuse and back problems for which he takes prescription drugs — goes on trial Monday on charges of unwanted sexual contact with four women.

The Times says an examination of Allmon's case reveals the women's accusations amount to three kisses, six touches and comments of a sexual nature — basically "tastelessly hitting on them" at worst.

"I want you to understand how women can destroy a man," Allmon's sister Lisa Roper told The Times.

"It was out and out vindictiveness set up to destroy a man who didn't do what they wanted. A group of young women who are brand new in the military and because they didn't get their way they set out to destroy a man of 19 years in the Air Force."

Bergdahl, who abandoned his post and was held captive by the Taliban in Afghanistan for five years, was released in 2014 as part of an exchange for imprisoned Taliban terror suspects.

An Army officer is recommending Bergdahl face a lower-level court martial and be spared the possibility of jail time for leaving his post.
