"Their warning of betrayal, this message of world failure, the regret of the dead, lest we never forget" — poem by Travis Reiter
Many Americans have forgotten the vital importance of seeking truth for truth's own sake. Although Americans are a generally exuberant, gregarious free lot, our Founders never set up our system of American freedom to blindly trust anything.
Always remember that Americans agreed to be ruled, but only lightly so:
"The only maxim of a free government ought to be to trust no man living with power to endanger the public liberty." — John Adams
“Reason and free inquiry are the only effectual agents against error.” — Thomas Jefferson
“For if Men are to be precluded from offering their Sentiments on a matter, which may involve the most serious and alarming consequences, that can invite the consideration of Mankind, reason is of no use to us; the freedom of Speech may be taken away, and, dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep, to the Slaughter.” — George Washington
After fleeing English rule, America was clearly set up legally, structurally and philosophically for citizens to mistrust their own government and die for truth (especially self-evident truth.)
That credo continues.
Those roots of ongoing systemic self-inquiry are why America remains a moral leader in affairs of democracy, blemishes notwithstanding.
Yet, now when an individual expresses skepticism over the 2020 elections, governmental COVID mismanagement, rampant spending, systemic racism, Big Pharma, Big Tech, or Big Media, they are often blanketed with repressive, bigotry-shaming for questioning the left’s new normal.
We are labeled racist, treasonous, seditionist and anti-vaxxers. Rational, balanced Socratic discussions free of attacks become fewer each day.
For conservatives, our proud history of self-determination must constantly be told to those seeking to enter our great country.
We are a rough and tumble, proud and dynamic people. Under penalty of death, we rebelled against the repressive British and created the greatest, most powerful country in world history. It's a privilege, not a right to join America.
A July 2021 Gallup Public Institution Trust Poll queried if Americans held a "great deal" or "quite a lot" of confidence in our institutions. Only 11% responded affirmatively for Congress, 16% for television news, and 24% percent for our newspapers.
Contaminated by money and influence, our media seems permanently shot. A few reputable outlets include Newsmax, OANN, select Fox News pundits, Epoch Times and AM radio.
Fortunately, traditional media is now challenged and supported by citizen journalists' minds on Rumble, Bitchute, BrandNewTube, and even Youtube and Twitter when their censors miss the ball.
This leads us full circle to our most crucial linchpin regarding trust between free Americans and our elected government, our vote and election integrity.
Targeting those who challenge Biden's victory remains the holy grail of the left and it’s media and tech propaganda machine.
As Trump said Saturday in his Phoenix rally, "If I (honestly) lost the election, I’ll go home … But, when they steal and they rig it, you have to fight, we have no choice.”
Contrary to the left’s wild-eyed baseless insurrection narrative, Trump’s eyes are clearly on 2022 and peacefully returning in 2024. Trump paints the picture clearly.
“The truth for America’s future” is more important than any immediate outcome. Our elections must remain functional and free.
Federalizing our elections via SR1 will shatter trust. Even bad democrats know this.
Election integrity audits should not even be an issue. Let all audits go forward.
Americans deserve secure, transparent, free and fair elections.
Confirmation is democratic, and America is democratic because our justice system allows inquiry and verification.
Treason is contaminating an election, not challenging its integrity.
The left uses violent phantom insurrection rhetoric to stall audits. Elites suppress and bury information under the guise of stability.
Lies remains the dehumanizing root of repressive regimes. Most intelligent Americans know the cards that have been played.
Justice and truth's inherent merits lie beyond far beyond outcome. They aim to hold up our higher principles that American is built on.
In a world of ideas, it remains absolute; whether justice is served, the truth shall ultimately set us free.
For our democracy to exist, we must restore trust with facts.
The facts require the fact-seeking process of ongoing audits, not leftist obstruction. The American right can win back America on our own merits in the next cycle.
Meanwhile, every state audit must be allowed to be run for as long as needed.
Any government official obstructing the rational inquiry of our thinking man's society must be legally removed from office by a free vote as well.
We must seek out injustice and hold it to the light for truth's own sake — lest we never forget.
