Chrissy Teigen’s mom bod has made it to social media, where the supermodel posted photos and video of her stretch marks while on a vacation in Bali with husband John Legend and their two young children.
The 32-year-old mother of Luna, 2, and Miles, 2 months, shared the images with the caption “mom bod alert” and said she wasn’t completely comfortable with her new body, but hoped it would make others feel better about their imperfections.
“I guess these just aren’t going to go away,” Teigen said in the Twitter video. “This is my new body.”
In another tweet, the supermodel mom said she was happy for those with “killer bodies” but wanted people to know it was OK to have a “regular ol’ body” too.
“I don’t really call this ‘body confidence’ because I’m not quite there yet,” Teigen admitted in a follow-up tweet. “I’m still super insecure. I’m just happy that I can make anyone else out there feel better about themselves.”
Fans and followers praised Teigen for her honesty and bravery in posting the "mom bod" images.
Teigen has a history of being “real” about her life experiences, including fertility struggles and having postpartum depression after the birth of her first child.
