White House Removes, Donates Obama Daughters' Swing Set

The White House has removed and donated a swing set President Barack Obama purchased for his two daughters eight years ago.

According to CBS News' Mark Knoller, the swing set that was installed in 2009 within viewing distance of the Oval Office was taken out this week. The White House reportedly offered to leave it on the grounds for President-elect Donald Trump's grandchildren to use, but the offer was "turned down."

The swing set, Knoller reports, was given to a local Washington, D.C. charity. Sasha and Malia Obama first used the set when they were 7 and 10 years old.
