PHOENIX (AP) — Police trying to keep protesters from blocking dozens of neo-Nazis marching in Phoenix on Saturday afternoon used tear gas to move the counter-protesters off the street.
Police spokesman Sgt. Tommy Thompson says no serious injuries were reported and nobody was arrested.
After people opposed to the neo-Nazi march were moved off the street, members of the National Socialist Movement continued on to the federal courthouse.
They have regularly marched in Phoenix against illegal immigration and in support of American workers in recent years.
