Comedian Steve Harvey says his "so-called friends" have "eaten me alive" for meeting with Donald Trump.
His comments came during an interview on his TV talk show with fellow funnyman Mike Epps.
He showed a video of Epps joking that Harvey's meeting with Trump. Epps said the two men had met in order for Harvey to buy the White House.
But later, Harvey noted: "So many of my so-called friends have just eaten me alive for going to meet with the president of the United States."
And he added that "if you understood what I was up there meeting about, you'd probably be quiet."
The Washington Examiner said the two men met in New York on Jan. 13 — a week before Trump was sworn-in as president, and reportedly discussed inner cities reform.
