One of the groups that is poised to protest an upcoming grand jury decision in the Michael Brown shooting case plans to target several locations near Ferguson, Mo., including company sites for Boeing and Anheuser Busch.
As reported by
Gateway Pundit, NoIndictment.org posted a long list of potential protest sites. Among them are several spots in Ferguson, but others have no ties to the Aug. 9 incident that saw Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson fatally shoot Brown during a confrontation.
A grand jury is debating whether or not charges should be pressed against Wilson. Brown, an 18-year-old black teen, was unarmed at the time. Wilson claims Brown attacked him in his police car and left him with no choice but to use deadly force.
A decision in the case is expected sometime this week, and protest groups are waiting in the wings to let their voices be heard — regardless of the decision. If the grand jury elects not to charge Wilson, violent protests could occur across the country,
a recent FBI bulletin warns.
As for NoIndictment.org, its list of potential protest sites is lengthy. Among the locations are the St. Louis County Justice Center, the offices of several public officials, including Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon, the Ferguson Police Department and its jail, the headquarters for Anheuser-Busch and Emerson Electric, Boeing, and several other sites.
The website also lists "safe spaces" where protesters can "escape police violence [and] get updated on protest plans."
