The Supreme Court appears likely to rule on the constitutionality of the 2010 healthcare law around June 2012. And a plurality of likely voters hopes the court strikes down the legislation, according to a new poll from
the Hill.
The survey shows that 48 percent of likely voters think it would be good for the court to cast aside Obamacare, and 39 percent think it would be bad. A hefty chunk of Democrats — 20 percent — would like to see Obamacare go, while 67 percent disagree. Among Republicans, 79 percent would like the Supreme Court to overturn the law, while 11 percent disagree.
In an ominous sign for President Barack Obama, 43 percent of voters between the ages of 18 and 39 favor a court reversal of the law, compared with 40 percent who oppose a reversal.
