Poll: 63% of NH Residents Disapprove of Trump's COVID-19 Response

Most New Hampshirites do not approve of President Donald Trump’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a new poll.

A Granite State Panel survey released Thursday shows that nearly two-thirds of New Hampshire residents are not fans of how the president has responded to the health crisis. But a majority of Republicans in the state say they do approve of how the president is handling the virus outbreak. 

Poll results show:

• 63% of New Hampshire residents say they disapprove of Trump’s COVID-19 response.
• 74% of New Hampshire Republicans say they approve of Trump’s COVID-19 response.
• 1% of New Hampshire Democrats say they approve of the president’s pandemic response.

The poll results show that Trump’s approval from New Hampshire Republicans has been on the decline since March. In March, 88% of the state's Republicans approved of Trump’s pandemic response.

The Granite State Panel survey is conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center. The poll surveyed 997 New Hampshire residents between June 18-22.
