Madame Tussauds in New York has put a face mask to its President Donald Trump wax figure as a reminder to people of the city's requirement to wear a mask once museums reopen this Friday, according to The Hill.
"At over 6 feet, the President is quite the imposing figure, thus we felt he was the perfect figure to remind our guests to take those selfies safely masked," spokesman Matthew Clarkson told CNN.
The museum has capped its capacity at 25% during the coronavirus pandemic and will open its doors for regular business hours Wednesdays through Sundays.
According to CNN, the wax museum also announced it will donate a ticket to a local health care worker for each guest who tags the museum on social media after visiting.
Madame Tussaud's theater, photo props and interactive experiences will stay closed to the public.
The real-life Trump was initially reluctant to wear a mask in public, casting doubt on their effectiveness at fighting COVID-19.
